It's a Manual! This 2011 Subaru Forester 2.5x Premium in Spark Silver Metallic has 173k, but it has a 2015 engine that we installed with just 93k.

Also installed a new clutch kit with sleeve, and new brake pads and rotors all around. Gave it a 4-wheel alignment.

17" alloy wheels with a set of 4 Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum all-season tires have 6/32" tread remaining in front and 4-5/32" in back. (10/32" is new, and 2/32" means Replace Now.) Deeper tread is (properly) in front.

Manual 5-speed transmission. Backup camera (see photo). Its double wishbone rear suspension makes for a smoother ride.

Of all Subaru models, the Forester has a bit more headroom: it's an inch or two higher than the Outback. Driver's seat height (adjustable) averages about 25" off the ground. Its ground clearance of 8.7 inches makes it not only easy to get in and out of, but along with the all-wheel drive, makes it a great vehicle for all seasons, including Midwest winters.

Rear seats recline as well as fold down for more cargo space. Cargo volume with the rear seats up is 30.8 cubic feet. With the rear seats folded, it's 63.0 cf.

A trip computer in the dashboard / instrument panel measures fuel economy: it's gotten 21.3 mpg over the last 6300 miles.

Powered Sunroof with generous dimensions (see photo): 28" x 31.5".

All-Weather Package includes heated front seats, plus defrosting outside mirrors & windshield wiper de-icers which turn on when rear defrost button is pushed.

Fog lights. Super sturdy WeatherTech floor mats in front and back.

10-way power driver seat including power lumbar support. Tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Rear flip-down armrest and flip-out tray with 2 cupholders. 12v power outlet in the rear cargo area.

Boss stereo system has a touchscreen and handsfree Bluetooth connectivity for your phone and wireless audio streaming. Compatible with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Audio as well as cruise control buttons on the steering wheel.

One 12v power outlet is in the front center console under the armrest, and another is in the rear cargo area.

For stability and safety, Subaru's Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system monitors the direction of the car compared to the intended steering direction. It compensates by braking individual wheels and/or altering fuel flow to the engine. Also, the Traction Control System (TCS) senses if any wheels are skidding and redirects power only to those wheels having the best traction.

This model was a Top Safety Pick for 2011 by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. It comes with six airbags (including side-curtain ones) as well as Brake Assist.

Imperfections (see photos): Very few. Small rust spot near the bottom of RH rear door.

But of course this Forester has Subaru's signature All-Wheel Drive transmission!
