Here's a MANUAL 2010 Subaru Outback 2.5i in Cypress Green Pearl with 146k. Ready to go after our complete engine rebuild, which consisted of reboring the cylinders; new pistons and rings; new main bearings and rod bearings; new crankshaft; new block seals, crossover tube seals, and rear main seal; new head gaskets and valve cover gaskets; new oil pan gasket, water pump gasket, and spark plugs. Also new timing kit (consisting of the timing belt, tensioner, and three idler wheels). Resurfaced the heads before putting everything back together.

Gave it new front brake pads and rotors. Rear pads are at about 50%, with 5mm thickness remaining (8mm is new for rear pads).

--> Gave it our signature 300+ mile test, and it passed.

Manual 6-speed transmission. Heavy duty raised suspension. Its double wishbone suspension in the rear makes for a smoother ride.

16" wheels with a set of 4 Hankook Kinergy all-season tires have about half their tread remaining: 6 to 7/32" in front and 5 to 6/32" in back. (10/32" is new, and 2/32" means Replace Now.) We rotated the tires for you, putting the deeper tread in front. Balanced the tires as well.

Tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Flip-down rear armrest and beverage holder. Rear seats recline as well as fold down for more cargo space.

The steering wheel has audio and cruise control buttons. A 1/8" aux jack is in the center console.

There are 3 12v power outlets: in the front console, center console, and rear cargo area.

A trip computer in the dashboard / instrument panel measures fuel economy (see photos): it's gotten 26.1 mpg over the last 3168 miles.

Driver's seat height (adjustable) averages about 25" off the ground. Its ground clearance of 8.7 inches makes it not only easy to get in and out of, but along with the all-wheel drive, makes it a great vehicle for all seasons, including Midwest winters.

It represents Subaru's 4th generation of Outbacks, named by Motortrend as the "SUV of the Year." Its maximum cargo capacity, with 34.3/71.3 cubic feet (back seats up/down) rivals other classic SUVs on the market. And as for legroom and headroom, it's just plain roomy. Try it out.

For stability and safety, Subaru's Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system monitors the direction of the car compared to the intended steering direction. It compensates by braking individual wheels and/or altering fuel flow to the engine. Also, the Traction Control System (TCS) senses if any wheels are skidding and redirects power only to those wheels having the best traction.

This model was a Top Safety Pick for 2011 by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. It comes with six airbags (including side-curtain ones) as well as Brake Assist.

Imperfections (see photos): scuffs on RH rear door & quarter panel, chipped wheel covers, upholstery holes in front passenger seat & front doors, pokes in center console and rear doors, cracks in plastic liner inside rear hatch door.

But of course this Outback has Subaru's signature All-Wheel Drive transmission!
