This 2012 Outback 2.5i Premium in Deep Indigo Pearl with 174k is ready to roll after its engine rebuild, which consisted of rebored cylinders, main bearings, rod bearings, rear main seal, head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, water pump gasket, and spark plugs. Resurfaced the heads before putting everything back together.

Also installed 2 new cat converters, new exhaust pipe, front and rear O2 sensors, LH front CV axle, sway link, LH front window switch and motor, radio, fenders, and windshield. Recharged the A/C.

Put new brake pads and rotors on the front; rear pads are at 50%.

Gave it our 300+ mile test to make sure everything checks out!

Even after replacing the radio unit, we still aren't able to get the audio system to work real well. You can hear stations, but they don't come in very strong, so this suggests an antenna issue. Yet we couldn't get the USB or aux ports to work either. And the fuses all appear to be fine. DC power outlet was removed by previous owner. So this car is for someone who (a) is more intelligent than we are with regard to audio electronics, (b) doesn't need car audio, or (c) has an alternative device for such purposes, like your phone.

Additional flaws (see photos): front, crack in front bumper cover, dents on LH fender & RH rear door, rust spot above windshield, and upholstery stains we weren't able to remove. TPMS light is on even though all tires are inflated to recommended pressure.

But of course it has Subaru's signature All-Wheel Drive transmission!
